Skylark Jazz Ensemble is a band from western Maine with a very enjoyable sound. We play standards made famous by jazz singers like Ella Fitgerald and Billie Holiday and other popular music, from light swing to bossa nova, love ballads, a little blues and even an occasional country song. Featuring Janet Gill on vocals, Carol Rhoads on keyboard, Bob Wallace on bass and Carl Harbourt on percussion, we provide a sound that is fun to dance to, or just to enjoy listening to. Skylark has entertained audiences at the Cornish Apple Festival, Art in the Park, Waterford Fair, private parties and other events. We are available for weddings, parties and receptions.
